Mission
The mission of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) ERG is to build community, increase visibility and advocate for a welcoming campus for AAPI faculty, staff and students. We uplift and elevate the visibility, achievement and contributions of faculty, staff and students from this community including those from East Asian, Southeast Asian, Indian subcontinent or the Pacific Islands. May all those in this community feel a sense of belonging at UT Dallas.
Objectives
- To disseminate information about Asian American and Pacific Islanders and amplify the awareness of AAPI issues
- To contribute to the efforts at UT Dallas for the advocacy of AAPI faculty and staff
- To create and maintain an open forum for the discussion of AAPI-related issues at UT Dallas
